Mr. Carter Edwards
"Most Versatile Australian Entertainer"

The "MO" Awards for excellence in live performance were first presented in 1976 by the late Johnny O’Keefe who was the inaugural Chairman of the "MO" Awards.

After over three decades of operation the "MO" Award is the most highly esteemed tribute for excellence in live performance in Australia

Maestro Tommy Tycho AM MBE and Geoff Harvey are official patrons of  the "MO" Awards organization.

The Annual Australian Entertainment "MO" Awards Presentation Ceremony is now one of the major events on the entertainment calendar and well supported by all sectors of the industry. Tickets sell out weeks in advance of the event.

The Awards honour loved and  legendary Australian clown and comic Roy Rene. Under his character name "Mo McCackie", Roy Rene was one of Australia’s greatest vaudevillian performers. Mo’s son, Sam van der Sluice, is a strong supporter of the Annual "MO" Awards, which he regards as a fitting tribute to his late father.
